The Japan International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences(JIRCAS) was established in October 1993, through the reorganization of its predecessor, the Tropical Agriculture Research Center (TARC), in order to include overseas forestry and fisheries research in its mandate. It was again restructured in April, 2001 as an Incorporated Administrative Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF).

The Center for Development Studies (CENDES) is an experimental interdisciplinary institute under the umbrella of the Academic Vice-rectorate of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV). Since its creation in 1961, its main activities have been research, postgraduate teaching and the dissemination and extension of development sciences and planning techniques.

The Earth Institute is a research institute at Columbia University that was established at in 1995. Its stated mission is to address complex issues facing the planet and its inhabitants, with a focus on sustainable development. With an interdisciplinary approach, this includes research in climate change, geology, global health, economics, management, agriculture, ecosystems, urbanization, energy, hazards, and water.

International Journal of Innovative Research (IJIR) is an open-access triannual (three times in a year), peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary journal devoted to publication of original research articles, short communication and reviews on all aspects of innovative research. It is published by the Innovative Research Syndicate (IRS).

The San Diego International Law Journal (SDILJ) is an academic journal dedicated to the publication of articles that widen the realm of international and comparative legal scholarship. The SDILJ is committed to publishing articles, essays and book reviews written by academics and legal practitioners from all over the world. The SDILJ is especially devoted to attracting articles written by academics and practitioners who are involved in international and multi-national organizations.

Initiated in 2001, Journal of Forest and Livelihood (ISSN 1684-0186) is a peer reviewed journal that documents and disseminates the insights, lessons and innovations taking place in socio-cultural, political and economic aspects of environmental governance and rural livelihoods in Nepal.
