Carlos joined the Land Portal as Data Officer in January 2016. He is a Linked Open Data specialist with wide knowledge and expertise in semantic web technologies, computer science, software design and development, human computer interaction, productivity and networking. He has previously worked for Previously the Fundación CTIC as a researcher of the Semantic Technologies Unit, and has taken part in several national and European R&D projects and initiatives. He holds a Masters of Science in Engineering and Computing Science from the University of Oviedo.

EP has been working in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Karnataka and Delhi. It was established in 1994 by a group of Igorot lawyers, anthropologists and activists interested in advancing indigenous peoples’ rights. Cordillera Indigenous Peoples Legal Center offers support on legal and policy research, public advocacy, capacity building, legal aid and solidarity campaigns.
Democratic Governance Facility
The Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) is a multi-donor facility established by eight development partners under an agreement with the GoU: Austria, Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the European Union. As development partners, the DGF shares a vision with the government and the people of Uganda of maintaining a corrupt-free Uganda. Therefore, DGF is committed to contributing to the fight against corruption by supporting CSOs and several state institutions whose mandate is to fight corruption.
