Mohd Afzanizam Muda is currently affiliated at Climate Change and Forestry Branch Forest Research Institute Malaysia located in Selangor, Malaysia. Currently, he undertook research project on carbon stock assessment in peat swamp forest in Pekan Pahang. This mitigation project including comparative study between greenhouse gas emission from peat swamp forest and oil palm plantation using Eddy Covariance method. His also has interest and work experience on national greenhouse gas inventories and net primary productivity of tropical forest. Among active professional membership/affiliation as follow:: SINO ASEAN Network for Forest Research Institute (SANFRI) Young Scholar China (2019-2021), Alumni for International Foundation for Science (IFS), Sweden for Collaborative Research Grant recipient (Team member Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam for 2017-2019 ), ordinary member for International Society of Tropical Foresters (ISTF) (Asian Chapter) and Ordinary member for National STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematic) Association
