I'm a quantitative ecologist, who works with satellite imagery, field data and statistical models to quantify the impact of conservation policies. I did my Ph.D. on tropical forest management with a focus on the Guiana Shield Ecoregion at the University of Florida and am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Human-Environmental Systems Centre at Boise State University. My research portfolio spans multiple ecosystems that include the tropics and semi-arid regions, and a range of collaborators from NGOs and government agencies. My scientific outputs are specifically targeted to land-use managers and policymakers towards improve management of ecosystems for people, biodiversity and climate benefits.
