Professor Johnstone Kiamba is a consultant in Urban and Rural Planning. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree as well as a Master of Arts (Planning) from the University of Nairobi; a Doctor of Philosophy from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom; and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of South Africa.
Prof. Kiamba has worked, lectured, and consulted as a physical planner in Kenya and other countries including South Africa, Botswana, and Swaziland. He has extensive experience in land use planning, housing, environmental issues, as well as land use planning.
He is a member of the Kenya Institute of Planners, the South African Planning Institute, Botswana Institute of Town and Regional Planning and the Law Society of Kenya.
He is the current chair of the Kenya Institute of Planners and a director of Flash Development Planners in Nairobi, Kenya.
