The President decrees to set up State Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Land Cadastre carrying out the following functions: (a) implementation of common state policy on rational management and protection of land; (b) state control over rational management and protection of land; (c) elaboration and implementation of state programmes for raising soil fertility; (d) management of geodetic and cartographic activity; (e) organization of geodetic supervision; and (f) keeping of state land cadastre, state geodetic and cartographic register, and also keeping Uniform system of state registers.
