This Order establishes the modalities of registration of the contracts of lease of immovable property (including land) except for industrial enterprises, plots of forests, separate waterbodies and perennial plants. Plots of land and other nature complexes may be allotted on lease. Expropriated land shall not be allotted on lease except for special cases envisaged by legislation. Lease contract shall be subject to state registration if not otherwise envisaged by the current legislation. Short-term contracts of lease of land concluded for the period of less that one year shall not be subject to state registration except for cases envisaged by federal laws. Contracts of lease of land shall be concluded in written form.
