The present Law regulates the modalities of setting up, functioning, liquidation of condominiums in multi-apartment residential buildings and regulates relations connected with ownership, management and disposal of common property of condominium. The plot of land owned by condominium is land area allotted to the condominium in conformity with legislation and comprises the plot of land on which condominium is situated (art. 1). Plots of land on which condominium is situated shall be considered thereto in permanent tenancy (art. 4). Condominium shall be liquidated in case of expropriation in conformity with the established modalities of the whole plot of land for state or public needs (art. 36). The Law consists of 9 Sections that contain 38 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1- 4) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 5-7) regards setting up condominiums. Section 3 (arts. 8-14) regards managing bodies of condominium. Section 4 (arts. 15-19) regards membership in condominium, the rights and the duties of its members. Section 5 (arts. 20-27) regards maintenance, running, repairs and services of the common property of condominium. Section 6 (arts. 28-35) regards financial and economic activity of condominium. Section 7 (art. 36) regards liquidation of condominium. Section 8 (art. 37) lays down transitional provisions. Section 9 (art. 38) regards entry into force of the present Law.
