This Act contains rules relative to a wide range of matters regarding ownership and other rights in relation with (the use of) property and in particular real property.The rules concern, among other things: (a) deeds in respect of property; (b) registration of details regarding real property by a District Land Registrar; (c) rights of use and disposal of real property; (d) powers and conditions of sale and protection of purchasers and creditors; (e) implied conditions of contract regarding transfer; (f) mortgages and sale of mortgaged land; (g) leases and tenancies and relationship between landlord and tenant; (h) (registration of) easements, restrictive stipulations, and encroachments; and (i) partition of lands and chattels.
