State Committee on Land Survey is a state institution responsible for the state and elaboration of the common state policy in the sphere of land relations and carrying out land reform. State Committee on Land Survey is authorized to carry out its functions directly, through its local branches and land-surveyors of local self-government. The main tasks of the Committee are: 1) elaboration of common policy and realization of the decisions made in the sphere of land survey, land tenure and land relations; 2) carrying out state control over efficient use and protection of land resources in accordance with land legislation; 3) carrying out land survey, keeping land cadastre and carrying out land monitoring; 4) cadastre land valuation; 5) carrying out land reform; 6) state registration of land rights.
Repeals: Ministerial Decree No.31 of 1999 regarding the sphere of competence of the Committee on land resources and land survey. (1999-02-04)
