These Regulations make provision in Northern Ireland for the administration and enforcement of compliance of farmers with a range of laws and standards regarding "good agricultural and environmental condition". The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as the competent national authority, shall be responsible for providing farmers with a list of the statutory management requirements and standards of good agricultural and environmental condition on their land.

This Regional Law establishes that public or municipal land plot can be allotted free of charge on condition of tenancy for maximum period of six year for residential housing construction or family farming to certain categories of agricultural specialists (list of professions included).

These Measures, consisting of 32 articles, are formulated for implementing the Grassland Law of the People's Republic of China in Sichuan Province.The grasslands under collective ownership, and those under ownership by the State that are assigned to collectives according to law for long-term use, may be contracted by a household or a group of households within the collectives. The purpose of these Regulations is to regulate the contracted management of rural land and guarantee the legitimate rights and interests of the contracting parties.

These Regulations have been formulated for the purpose of stabilizing and perfecting the two-level operation system, which is based on the responsibility system of contracting by households supplemented by unified management, protecting the legal rights and interests of the parties of the contracting of rural land, so as to improve the development of agriculture and the rural economy and stabilize the rural areas.

These Measures, consisting of 31 Articles, are formulated in accordance with the Law on the Rural Land Contracting. A member of a rural collective economic organization is entitled to contract the rural land of such rural collective economic organization. The Contractor shall obtain the right to land contractual management after the contract enters into effect. The right to land contractual management obtained through household contract may, according to law, be circulated by subcontracting, leasing, exchanging, transferring or other means.
