El presente Decreto Supremo aprueba el Reglamento de calificación de tierras por su capacidad de uso mayor, con la finalidad de promover y difundir el uso racional continuado del recurso suelo con el fin de conseguir de este recurso el óptimo beneficio social y económico dentro de la concepción y principios del desarrollo sostenible.

El presente Acuerdo modifica el Procedimiento para la adjudicación de tierras del patrimonio forestal del Estado y bosques y vegetación protectores, en lo relacionado con la distinción entre las tierras adjudicadas que corresponden al Patrimonio Forestal del Estado, que quedan deslindadas de dicho Patrimonio, y aquellas que corresponden a los bosques y vegetación protectores que cambiarán únicamente de dominio y seguirán formando parte del mismo bosque y vegetación protector.
The Forestry Sector Policy is a national sectoral policy which sets forth long-term, medium-term and short term objectives relating to the sustainable use of forest resources. The long-term objectives of the Policy are: a) to meet the people’s basic needs for forestry products on a sustainable basis; b) to contribute to food production; c) to protect land from degradation; d) to conserve and use biological diversity and genetic resources in a sustainable manner; e) to create opportunities for income generation and employment.
This is a comprehensive statute of forest management aiming to extend forests by reforestation, to produce good quality and competitive forest products; to contribute to soil conservation, water management and other useful purposes; to integrate hunting and wildlife management with the national economy. The Law differentiates between forests (for timber extraction, research purposes, protection forests and recreational forests, protected forests and for wildlife management purposes) and other woodlands whose surface area is less than half a hectare.
The present Ordinance implements the Carinthia Wood and Pasture Exploitation Law (LGBl. Nr. 15/2003). The text – consisting of 6 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: divisions of wood and pasture, feedstuff used in pastures and condition of soil in pasture.

The Strategy for the Development of the Forestry and Pastures Sector in Albania is a national strategy with a sectoral approach, whose objectives are: a) protection of forests, pastures and biodiversity; b) encouragement and maintenance of the sustainable management of forests and pastures; c) consolidation of linkages with the market economy; d) involvement of local stakeholders and users in the development of the forestry sector; e) institutional and legal reform of the forestry sector at national and local level.
The preparation of the Tanzania National Adaption Programme of Action plan is the result of the impacts of climate change on sectors such as agriculture, water, health, energy and others in 2007. Tanzania NAPA document is informed by the aspirations of National Development Vision 2025 for high and shared growth, quality livelihood, peace, stability and unity, good governance, high-quality education and global competitiveness. The NAPA preparatory process involved the participation of many stakeholders.
This Law provides for general town and country planning and provides rules relative to development in Jersey. It also provides for the protection of trees. The purpose of the Law is to conserve, protect and improve Jersey’s natural beauty, natural resources and general amenities, its character, and its physical and natural environments. An application for planning permission to carry out prescribed development under this Law shall be taken to include any environmental impact statement relating to the application prepared and provided in accordance with provisions of this Law.
This Act makes provision for the protection of soil from erosion. It also provides for the conservation, protection and improvement of the soil, the vegetation and the sources and resources of the water supplies of Namibia.
The purpose of these Measures is to strengthen and regulate the activities and consolidate the achievements of restoring farmland to forest projects, to improve the ecological environment, and to ensure the economic development and income increase of farmers and herdsmen in the project areas. The Measures are composed of 25 articles. The overall plan and the annual implementation scheme on restoring farmland to forest shall be worked out by the competent forestry authority of the regional government and shall include farmland listed in article 7.
This Law consisting of 27 articles aims at regulating the green cover protection in Libya. It establishes that the General People's Committee for Agricultural Land Reclamation and Reconstruction is responsible for protection, development and management of public forests and rangelands, and contributes to administrate private forests and pastoral farms.
