The present Law lays down provisions relating to the transfer, regulation and securing of rights of timber and forestry production, as well as to rights of pasture regulated by the RGBl. No. 130/1853. The text consists of 48 articles divided into 2 Parts. The first Part is composed of 5 chapters as follows: Transfer and new regulations, general provisions (1); Transfer by ceasing ground and soil (2); Transfer by money (3); New rules (4); Securing of newl usufruct rights (5). The second Part deals with official authorities and proceedings.

This Act concerns self-government and self-sufficiency of Aboriginal persons and Torres Strait Islanders, the economic and cultural development of and the use of lands by descendants of original habitants of Australia. The Act establishes the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA), the Indigenous Land Corporation and a corporation to be known as Indigenous Business Australia. TSRA shall, among other things, formulate and implement programs for Torres Strait Islanders, and Aboriginal persons, living in the Torres Strait area.

This Act provides for transitional and consequential matters relating to the enactment of the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006. It amends the Native Title Act 1993, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2005, the Aboriginal Land (Lake Condah and Framlingham Forest) Act 1987, the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976 and some other Acts.

This Act provides for measures to improve the well-being of certain communities in the Northern Territory. The Act also concerns, among other things, the grant of leases by the Commonwealth, acquisition of rights, titles and interests in land by the Commonwealth, vesting rights, titles and interests in land in the Commonwealth and registration of dealings with land done by force of this Act. The Act makes consequential amendments to the Native Title Act, the Special Purposes Leases Act and the Crown Lands Act.

Public Law 30-142 - An Act to add a new §80105 (c) to Chapter 80 of Title 21, Guam Code Annotated, relative to the transfer of property under the jurisdiction of the Port Authority of Guam to the jurisdiction of the Guam Ancestral Lands Commission.

This Act amends Chapter 80 of Title 21 to provide for the transfer of real property of the Guam Port Authority to the Guam Ancestral Lands Commission so that the Commission can return land parcels and properties to the original landowners or their estates.

This Act provides for title and registration of rights in native land.The Act consists of 65 sections divided into 9 Parts: Preliminary (I); Titles to native land (II); Alienation (III); The Land Court (IV); Lands Code (V); Leases (VI); Survey (VII); Penalties (VIII); General (IX).Section 4 concerns indefeasibility of title of native title subject to specified conditions. Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance native land shall not be alienated, whether by sale, gift, lease or otherwise, to a person who is not a native (sect. 5).

This Law grants power to local authorities to authorize the occupation of a “chose publique”, i.e. any area of land over which the public has, under the customary law of Jersey, the right to pass without let or hindrance, whether on foot or with animals or vehicles, including any highway, but excluding any park or sea beach. This right of occupation restricts the public right of access to the area of land in question.
