Digital Underground Cadastre Ordinance.

The present Ordinance enforces the Spatial Information Law of 24 October 2011. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the management of the underground. Article 2 establishes that the underground cadastre includes buildings and facilities, inter alia, concerning water supply, gas, electricity and heat supply, effluent waste water, transport of fuels.

Kantonal Ordinance on official survey (Official Survey Ordinance).

The present Ordinance enforces the Spatial Information Law of 24 October 2011. Article 1 establishes that the Cantonal Surveying Agency is the authority responsible for the official land survey in the Canton Zurich. The article lists also the tasks that shall be carried out by the afore-mentioned Agency, such as authorizing survey contracts, regulating data description.

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2010. In particular, the present Law regulates the: a) enforcement of the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2007; b) collection and use of spatial information of the Canton and municipalities; c) establishment and running of the digital cadastre. The execution of cadastral work and inspection shall be performed by a surveyor covered by insurance policy for liabilities in omissions committed by the surveyor or by the surveyor's staff. The insurance entity must be registered in an EU country and must be in addition to other existing insurances on losses due to the performance of cadastral survey.

Regional Law No. 184-ZKO “On objects of cultural heritage”.

This Regional Law ensures consitutional rights of citizens to access to objects of cultural and historical heritage and establishes duties of citizens for conservation of the objects of cultural heritage. It regulates management, promotion and state protection of the objects of cultural heritage. Objects of cultural heritage shall be subject to mandatory state registration. Regional Administration shall be responsible for mapping of the boundaries of the land areas containing objects of cultural heritage and establishment of land tenure regime.

Regional Law No. 210-ZKO “On protected areas”.

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of institution (organization), conservation and protection of protected areas. Regional protected areas shall be classified as follows: (a) natural parks; (b) state nature reserves; (c) nature monuments; (d) dendrological parks and botanical gardens; (e) healthcare areas and spas; and (f) other categories established by the Regional Administration. Land of protected areas shall be classified as public or municipal land and cannot be allotted in ownership to natural and legal persons except for cases envisaged by the federal legislation.

Regional Law No. 141-4-ZKO “On land-use planning projects.

This Regional Law establishes the modalities for elaboration of land-use planning project containing land-use planning scheme, mapping of boundaries of land areas with graphic presentation in accordance with Urban Code, urban vegetation and urban recreational forested areas, objects of cultural heritage, and potable water supply areas and sources.

Land Survey Fees Ordinance.
