Eirik
Romstad
Eirik Romstad is an Associate Professor in economics at the School of Economics and Business (SEB), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).
Romstad has his PhD from Oregon State University in 1990, and has been associate professor at NMBU since 2011.
He has previously been a research fellow and senior research fellow at the SEB at NMBU. His main research area is environmental and resource economics. Currently, he teaches environmental and resource economics and macroeconomics.
Romstad has been a visiting scholar at The Ohio State University (1992) and had a Sicco Mansholt visiting scholarship at Wageningen University 1999-2000. He was president of the European Association of Agricultural Economists 9:2005-8:2008.
