National Academic Research and Collaborations Information System (NARCIS) is the main Dutch national portal for those looking for information about researchers and their work. NARCIS aggregates data from around 30 institutional repositories. Besides researchers, NARCIS is also used by students, journalists and people working in educational and government institutions as well as the business sector.
NARCIS provides access to scientific information, including (open access) publications from the repositories of all the Dutch universities, KNAW, NWO and a number of research institutes, datasets from some data archives as well as descriptions of research projects, researchers and research institutes.
This means that NARCIS cannot be used as an entry point to access complete overviews of publications of researchers (yet). However, there are more institutions that make all their scientific publications accessible via NARCIS. By doing so, it will become possible to create much more complete publication lists of researchers.
In 2004, the development of NARCIS started as a cooperation project of KNAW Research Information, NWO, VSNU and METIS, as part of the development of services within the DARE programme of SURFfoundation. This project resulted in the NARCIS portal, in which the DAREnet service was incorporated in January 2007. NARCIS has been part of DANS since 2011.
DANS - Data Archiving and Networked Services - is the Netherlands Institute for permanent access to digital research resources. DANS encourages researchers to make their digital research data and related outputs Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.

In de Vijfde Nota Ruimtelijke Ordening staat de militaire luchthaven Valkenburg gepland voor ontwikkeling als stedelijk gebied. Binnen de betreffende gemeentes (Wassenaar, Katwijk, Valkenburg) zijn diverse natuurbeschermingsorganisaties voorstander voor het behoud van de luchthaven. Om vanuit de optiek van natuurwaarden een bijdrage aan de discussie en besluitvorming te leveren is Alterra gevraagd om de potentiële ecologische waarde van het marinevliegkamp te beschrijven
Naar een agenda voor de Veenkoloniën; analyse van ruim 10 jaar ideeën
In dit rapport worden ideeën uit verschillende rapporten over de Groningse Veenkoloniën verzameld en geanalyseerd. De analyse van deze ideeën is met behulp van methodes uit het gedachtegoed van duurzame ruimtelijke ontwikkeling en kwaliteit van de leefomgeving uitgevoerd. Hierbij zijn vier thema's onderscheiden: de kamstad, de wateras, multifunctioneel landschap en sectorale versterking. Voor deze vier thema's zijn aanbevelingen gedaan om de ideeën sterker te verankeren in het ecologisch systeem, hetfunctioneren en de samenleving.
Gaining ground : land reform and the constitution of community in the Tojolabal Highlands of Chiapas, Mexico
This study reconstructs the process of land redistribution in an indigenous region of Chiapas, the Tojolabal Highlands, situated between the better known Central Highlands and the Lacandona Rainforest. Until 1930 this region was dominated by large private estates or fincas , owned by families from Comitán. Usually 3000 ha in size, these fincas were dedicated to cattle ranching and some agriculture.
Inspirerende voorbeelden en financieringsmogelijkheden voor de groen-blauwe structuur van Amersfoort
Ter verwezenlijking van een groen-blauwe structuur heeft de gemeente Amersfoort opdracht verleend tot het beschrijven van 24 investeringsprojecten die elders met succes zijn of worden uitgevoerd. Deze refereren aan concrete wensen die zich in de vijf deelgebieden van de gemeente (Eempolder, Vallei, Heuvelrug, Stad en Eemloop) voordoen met betrekking tot versterking, betere benutting of duurzaam beheer van elementen in de groene ruimte en het watersysteem.
