These Regulations implement, in relation to projects for the use of uncultivated land and semi-natural areas in Northern Ireland for intensive agricultural purposes, Council Directive 85/337/EEC on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment and Council Directive 1992/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora insofar as it applies to such projects. Provision is made for the screening of “relevant projects”.

This Provincial Act is divided into five Titles. The aims pursued are the protection of any kind of land falling within the provincial territory, giving particular regard to forests, mountain grasslands and pastures, in order to ensure their conservation and productivity and to guarantee their rational and sustainable use.

This Decree lays down provisions for implementing Provincial Act No. 21 of 21 October 1996 relative to the forestry sector. The Decree is divided into three Titles and contains two Annexes. Title I regulates the hydrogeological and forest bonds referred to in article 3 of Provincial Act No. 21 of 1996. Article 2 concerns its removal under certain circumstances. Title II lays down particular provisions for bound lands. Part I of Title II regulates the transformation of forests. Article 4 gives the definition of forest.

Part III of and Schedule 9 to the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 substitutes new sections 28 to 28R in the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. Part III of and Schedule 11 to the 2000 Act makes transitional provisions in relation to the 1981 Act.

This Amendment, of four sections, adds the following sections to the principal Law. After section (41) shall be inserted section (41A) dealing with prohibitions regarding the selling of natural assets unless permitted by the Minister of Agriculture. After sec.(42) shall be inserted section (42A) dealing with the assignment of functions regarding the implementations of the provisions of this chapter and the regulations made thereunder. Sections (3) and (4) regard phrasing substitutions.

This Regulation, of 36 sections and one Annex, gives definitions and makes provisions for the preservation of lands due to land erosion in Israel. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 regards the declaration of Special Zones listed in the Annex to this regulation. Section 3 establishes conditions for grazing in special zones. Only the director of the Land-Preservation Department can authorize such grazing. Section 4 prohibits from a person to carry out preservation operations unless authorized and planned by the Director.

The Government of the Russian Federation and the administration of the Irkutsk Region have agreed as follows: (a)The Government of the Russian Federation jointly with the administration of the Irkutsk Region shall carry out arrangements for state support of the delivery of produce (commodities) to the Northern districts of the region in accordance with federal laws and normative legal acts.

This Law establishes legal status, the modalities of allotment, attachment and management of the territories of traditional nature management of indigenous scanty population of the North in the Khabarovsk Territory and is aimed at the solution of economic, social and demographic problems of indigenous scanty population of the North for the purpose of ensuring traditional way of life of the aforesaid population.

Regional Legislative Assembly decrees to validate Regional Law on territories of traditional nature management of indigenous scanty population of the North and to forward it for official publication.

Part II of this Order makes provision for implementing Council Directive 96/61/EC and for otherwise preventing and controlling pollution. It amends the transitional provisions in relation to waste management licenses in Article 47 of the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 and makes provision about certain expiring disposal licenses. Part III makes provision for implementing Council Directive 96/62 EC and for otherwise preventing and controlling air pollution. Part IV makes new provision with respect to areas of special scientific interest.

This Act provides for various matters relating to wildlife and forestry including: functions of the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands, acquisition of land and rights, natural heritage areas, nature reserves and refuges, protection of flora, wild birds and wild animals, and regulation and control of wildlife dealing.
