The purpose of this Act is to contribute to the strengthening of the agricultural competitiveness, the balanced development of the national economy, and the preservation of the environment of national land through the stabilization of farmers' management and the improvement of productivity, by stipulating necessary matters for the ownership, utilization, preservation, etc. of farmland in order to utilize and manage farmland efficiently.

This Act amends the Land Act in section 70 by deleting the word "prescribed". Section 70 deals with how an application for a state lease shall be made. It now reads: "An application for a State lease shall - (a) be made in the approved form, and (b) be accompanied by the fee for the registration of the application.

This Act regulates the administration of Government land and land acquisition for public purposes. Further it establishes the procedure to be followed for such acquisition and provides for eviction from lands and properties which are either held or administered by the Government.

These Regulations provide for the prevention of land desertification, the transformation of desertified land and the protection of the safety of the environment.The Law consists of 6 Chapters divided into 39 articles: General provisions (I); Planning on desert prevention and transformation (II); Prevention of land desertification (III); Transformation of desertified land (IV); Legal responsibilities (V); Supplementary provisions (VI).The regional forestry authority shall work out the planning of desert prevention and transformation of the whole country.

Article 3 shall be amended to add the folowing wording: "Regional state authorized executive body shall be responsible for conclusion of lease contracts, purchase and sale contracts and free land tenancy related to land plots pertaining to the ownership of the Regional Government".

This Law, consisting of 34 articles divided into four Chapters, creates a simplified cadastral information system. It adopts measures for the immediate identification of the land structure and the ownership of the rural and mixed lands. In addition, it creates: a) Geo-referenced graphical representation procedure; b) Special procedure of registration of rural and mixed lands omitted; c) Procedure of identification and registration of a land with no owner. The land has a unique identifier, called the land identification number (NIP).

This Regional Law shall have as its purpose ensuring the right of citizens to favorable environment, including landscape and shade gardening, planting of recreational urban forests, thus ensuring favorable conditions for vital activity of citizens, and delimits plenary powers between city state bodies, local government and municipal units in the sphere of improvement of natural environment. Objects of improvement of natural environment shall be: (a) urban land and rural land; and (b) public and municipal land without application of servitude.

This Law, consisting of 58 articles divided into four Chapters, provides for the regime of use of uncultivated lands and other community productive lands owned and managed by local communities integrated in the cooperative and social sector as means of production. It specifies the requirements to be satisfied for exploiting these lands, and establishes the conditions for land expropriation, use, etc. It lays down duties, competencies and composition of national administration responsible for the management of the above mentioned lands.

El presente Decreto Supremo reglamenta parcialmente la Ley que tiene por finalidad promocionar las inversiones para el crecimiento económico y el desarrollo sostenible, estableciendo la simplificación e integración de permisos y procedimientos, así como medidas de promoción de la inversión.
