Offers policy-relevant findings on critical global development issues, drawn from over 40 major UK-based economics and social studies departments and think-tanks, together with a wide range of NGO research departments and consultants.

TIPS

Trade & Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS) is an independent, non-profit, economic research institution based in Pretoria, South Africa. It was established in 1996 to support economic policy development, with an emphasis on industrial policy, in South Africa and the region.


TIPS has three main areas of work: trade and industrial policy; inequality and economic inclusion; and sustainable growth.


OECD Development Centre

The OECD Development Centre was established in 1961 as an independent platform for knowledge sharing and policy dialogue between Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development member countries and developing economies, allowing these countries to interact on an equal footing.


Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation

KALRO

KALRO is a corporate body created under the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Act of 2013 to establish suitable legal and institutional framework for coordination of agricultural research in Kenya with the following goals:


• Promote, streamline, co-ordinate and regulate research in crops, livestock, genetic resources and biotechnology in Kenya.


• Expedite equitable access to research information, resources and technology and promote the application of research findings and technology in the field of agriculture.

This branch consists of staff dedicated to developing, implementing and monitoring AfriCOG’s programmeactivities built around the core functions of: Research; Advocacy and Partnerships; and Dissemination and Linkages[1].
