Geographer and ecologist with 20 years of professional experience in Germany, Africa and Asia, focussing on governance of the resources land and water, geospatial data analysis and spatial planning.
Drawing on extensive field experience in various countries in Africa and Asia, he focuses on land governance, land management and participatory development planning processes. As the Chief Technical Advisor of the “Responsible and Innovative Land Administration” project in Ethiopia from 2014 to mid-2018, Mr. Eversmann was one of the key experts to advise the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources to improve the land administration system in the country through development of a “fit-for-purpose” approach for land registration, development of a national rural cadastre and related knowledge transfer.
In 2018, Mr. Eversmann joined the team of the rural development department at the NIRAS - IP offices in Stuttgart, Germany and took over the position of Technical Director Land.
Since September 2020, he is an advisor for Geoinformation and Earth Observation in the GIZ global project "Geodata for Development - Supporting the GEO-LDN Initiative".
