The Act consists of 76 sections divide into 12 parts: Preliminary (I); Administration (II); Planning (III); Control of development (IV); Continuation of existing uses (V); Special powers (VI); Development by Government (VII); certification of development (VIII); Enforcement (IX); Planning Appeals
This Act makes provision with respect to a deed of trust to be held by an independent authority for purposes of guaranteeing the repayment of debt and for the execution of such deed of trust and the transfer of property in the case the debt remains unpaid.
This Chapter concerns the establishment of deeds of trust in respect Chuuk land and in favour of the United States Government through the Farmers Home Administration or other federal agencies.
This Chapter prescribes rules regarding the establishment, recording and protection of mortgages.
This Act concern the definition of coordinated systems for purposes of land survey in the State of Chuuk and specified lagoons. The Chapter also gives some indications for a valid survey but does not require a purchaser or mortgager to entirely rely on the defined system.
This Chapter provides for the establishment of the Board of Land Surveyors Examiners of the State of Chuuk and for registration of land surveyors.
This Chapter concerns rights over private lands previously held by the Government under “indefinite land use agreements” concluded during administration of the United States of the State of Chuuk but which are currently held to be unjust.
This Act concerns compensation for fruit-bearing trees destroyed or damaged due to work on public projects. No claim for compensation shall be paid unless the destroyed tree is certified in the manner as prescribed by this Act.
