I am an anthropologist and have worked for 2.5 decades for the Center for International Forestry Research (though now I'm a senior associate only).  My work has focused on equity, gender and adaptive collaborative management of forests in recent years, mainly in the tropics, though also in the US.  My longterm experience has been in Indonesia, the Middle East and the US, though I have also supervised work in Africa, Latin America and other Asian countries since 1994.
