The present Regulations are made under the Crown Minerals Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the orderly exploitation of minerals in Saskatchewan. Section 3 establishes that the Regulations apply to all Crown minerals other than any Crown minerals listed in this section.
Conservation Easements Regulations (R.R.S. c. C-27.01 Reg. 1).
The present Regulations are made under the Conservation Easements Act. For the purpose of the present Regulations a Conservation Easement is a voluntary legal agreement between a landowner and conservation agency to preserve land in its natural state in perpetuity in order to protect endangered species, a historical site or to preserve the biological, physical and cultural attributes of the land for future generations. Section 5 lists the information a conservation easement has to contain.
Oil Shale Regulations, 1964 (Sask. Reg. 555/64).
The present Regulations enact section 10 of the Mineral Resources Act, 1959, which was repealed by the Crown Minerals Act (C-50.2), but these Regulations continue in force under the Crown Minerals Act. In particular, the Act lays down provisions relating to permits and licences of shale exploration. The text consists of 49 sections divided into 5 Parts as follows: General (I); Permits (II); Leases of Crown lands (III); Conditions applicable to permits and leases (IV); Surface rights (V). Three Schedules are enclosed.
Land Surveys Conversion Facilitation Regulations (R.R.S. c. L-4.1 Reg. 2).
The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Land Surveys Act, 2000. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the submission of survey plans for approval. All plans of survey to be submitted to the Controller or the Chief Surveyor for approval must be prepared in accordance with section 10 and subsection 12(1) of the Land Surveys Regulations.

Land Titles Conversion Facilitation Regulations (R.R.S. c. L-5.1 Reg. 2).
The present Regulations enact various sections of the Land Title Act, 2000. For example, sections 2 and 3 implement section 99 of the Act dealing with electronic codes; section 6 enacts section 197 of the Act concerning the definition of “instrument”; section 6.6. implements section 195 relating to conversion of mineral titles.
