El presente Decreto Ley tiene por objeto establecer el marco normativo e institucional de la atención, asistencia, reparación integral y restitución de tierras y de los derechos de las víctimas pertenecientes a comunidades negras, afrocolombianas, raizales y palenqueras, ofreciendo herramientas administrativas, judiciales y mecanismos de participación para que las comunidades y sus miembros individualmente considerados sean restablecidos en sus derechos.

The purpose of the present Law is to provide for the enactment of the Federal Land Consolidated Act of 14 July 1953 (BGBl. I p. 591). In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the nomination of competent authorities and tribunals in the Land Baden-Wurttemberg responsible for the execution of the afore-mentioned Act. This Act revises statute law of Nauru by: validating specified Acts; by making amendments to Acts and Ordinances; and by repealing specified Ordinances and Acts. Repealed Ordinances include: the Importation of Dogs Ordinance 1937-1967, the Native Administration Ordinance 1922-1967, the Native Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1935-1967 and the Prohibition of Sale to Chinese and Natives of Overmilled Rice Ordinance 1925-1967. Repealed Acts include the Nauru Local Government Council Act 1951-1985 and the Nauru Local Government Council Guarantee Act 1970.

This Act amends the Customary Land Tribunal Act in relation with definitions of the Director (now the Director General means the Director General responsible for land tribunal) and the Minister (sections 3(1), 34(2), 38(1)(c) and 40).

This Act amends various provisions of the Environmental Management and Conservation and changes its name to Environmental Protection and Conservation Act.

This Decree provides for use of native land as defined in the Native Lands Act and Crown land as defined in the Crown lands Act. Utilization of land to which this Decree applies shall be decided by the Prime Minister and all such land shall be registered in the Land Use Bank created under this Decree. The Decree also establishes a Land Use Unit in the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources. This office shall be responsible for valuation of land, issue and renewal of leases and collection of rental. Leases issued under this Decree shall be for 99 years and are protected leases.

This Order brings into force and makes transitional provisions in relation with provisions of the which relate to deregistration and exchange of, and works on, common land, together with related appeals and all remaining purposes provisions which relate to deregistration and exchange of, and works on, common land.

El presente Decreto Supremo modifica el Reglamento de la Ley de demarcación y organización territorial que desarrolla los principios, definiciones, procedimientos, requisitos y criterios técnicos y geográficos en materia de demarcación territorial, en lo que respecta al mecanismo de consulta vecinal.

This Order, made under section 16 of the Customary Courts Act, specify in the Schedule provisions of enactments customary courts shall have jurisdiction to administer. Enactments include the Branding of Cattle Act (Cap. 36:02), the Matimela Act (Cap. 36:06) and the Tribal Land Act (Cap. 32:02).
