Section 6 of the above-mentioned Act establishes that the Lieutenant-Governor in Council may appoint a Marshland Reclamation Commission which shall: a) advise the Minister on matters related to the reclamation and protection of marshland and its development and maintenance for agricultural purposes; b) study and examine proposals for the construction, reconstruction, repair, maintenance, conduct, or operation of works, and shall make recommendations thereupon to the Minister, and c) perform such further or other duties as may be assigned to it by this Act or the regulations.
Assessment Reduction Regulation – Assessment Act (N.B. Reg. 98-47).
The present Regulation is made under the Assessment Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the reduction of property tax to be paid in certain cases, such as for example charitable organizations. The text consists of 9 sections.

Maritime Forestry Complex Corporation Act (S.N.B. 2012, c. 108).
Section 2 of the above-mentioned Act establishes a body corporate called the “Maritime Forestry Complex Corporation” consisting of those persons who make up the board of directors.
Community Planning Act (R.S.N.B. 1973, c. C-12).
The purpose of the present Act is to provide for: a) the adoption of regional development plans for the general development thereof; b) the coordination of community planning within the context of a regional plan, if any; c) with respect to unincorporated parts of the Province, the vesting in the Lieutenant-Governor in Council and in the Minister of planning authority and the vesting in the Minister of administrative authority in connection with such unincorporated parts.
