The purpose of land inventory is comparative valuation of it quality and natural production capacity by points under real level of agricultural production. Land inventory is the principal type of inventory of land quality, is essential for subsequent valuation of agricultural land, determination of the amount of property share, carrying out land use planning and stimulation of the rational and efficient land tenure. The Regulation consists of 14 sections. Section 1 Lays down general provisions. Section 2 introduces the basic concepts. Section 3 establishes the basic methodical principles of the inventory of irrigated land. Section 4 establishes the basic principles of the inventory of mountain (dry-farming) land. Section 5 establishes the basic regulation for the compilation of inventory scale and inventory map of land tenure. Section 6 regards compilation of outline maps of soil inventory by areas. Section 7 regards activity planning. Section 8 regards preparatory activity. Section 9 regards office work. Section 10 regards inventory charts. Section 11 regards economic valuation of agricultural land. Section 12 regards economic valuation of land and establishes its target and contents. Section 13 regards cost valuation of agricultural land. Section 14 regards legalization of the documentation on land inventory.
