This Law sets the necessary rules and procedures aimed to define and regulate the restitution (restoration of land ownership) of forests and forest lands.The rules provided by this Law are related to: both state and private owned forests and forest lands, as also defined by other relevant Laws and Regulations (see article 2 of the text); and to various administrative issues such as status of restored ownership of forests and forest lands of former owners who have received the compensation for their properties, as well as former homeowners who have paid their debt to the state (and similar administrative cases and procedures).
