Section 9 of the Principal Act (matters to be considered for the determination of compensation) is amended by the adding a subsection that provides that a determination must be in writing and a copy of it must be given to the custom owner or owners of the land, and any other person interested in the land. Section 12 is amended so as to provide for appeal to be had only with the Supreme Court. A compensation payment determined under section 9 is to be made to the custom owner or owners of the land, and any other person interested in the land, as soon as practicable after the appeal period under section 12 expires (sect. 14).
