Measures for administration of land and resources standardization.

These Measures are formulated in order to strengthen the management of land and resources standardization work. The Text consists of 42 Articles divided into 10 Chapters: General provisions (I); Institutions and Functions (II); Scope and Categories of Standards (III); Standard pre-study (IV); Standard Planning (V); Standard formulation and revision (VI); Standard examination, approval and release (VII); Standard implementation and supervision and inspection (VIII); Standard review (IX); Supplementary Provisions (X).Land resources standards refer to the technical standards, rules and regulations of land resources, mineral resources, geology, ocean, surveying and mapping, etc. The Measures govern the standardization work in the fields of land resources, mineral resources, marine natural resources, geology. Ocean, surveying and mapping technical standards are formulated by the State Oceanic Administration and the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping. The Ministry of Land and Resources shall, organize the development of national standards for land and resources; organize the development of, and the approval of the land and resources industry standards; and apply the record management on the implementation of local standards for the field of land and resources.
