These Rules prohibit the taking possession of, encroaching upon, cultivating or putting up any building or structure on any part of any Crown Land without the express authorization in writing of the Minister. A person who occupies Crown Land without any right or authority shall be deemed to be a squatter. The Minister may serve a notice on a squatter ordering evacuation of the occupied land and, if such notice is ignored, may order removal of a squatter from the occupied Crown Land. Unlawful occupation or ignoring a notice shall be an offence.
