This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of state land control carried out by the Federal Agency of Immovable Property, Federal Supervision Service on Nature Management and by Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service. The purpose of state land control shall be the enforcement of land legislation and requirements on soil conservation and land tenancy. Federal Agency of Immovable Property shall carry out land control in the following spheres: (a) unauthorized occupation of land, unauthorized exchange of the plots of land and unauthorized land tenancy; (b) purposeful use of land; (c) mapping; and (d) data collection on the state of land. Federal Supervision Service on Nature Management shall carry out control in the following spheres: (a) recultivation of land after mining and timber extraction; (b) soil conservation and protection against erosion; (c) use of the plots of land and forests in water conservation areas. Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Service shall carry out land control in the following spheres: (a) soil conservation and soil improvement of agricultural land; and (b) prevention of land degradation.
