This National Programme for Food Security is a comprehensive multi-sectoral document targeting the entire food insecure population, with special emphasis on the poor people, small farmers and other most vulnerable groups. It also intends to provide a strategic programme framework with a set of prioritized actions. The mission of the Programme is to achieve and enhance food security including food availability, stability, access, safety and utilization in Syria.
Regional administration establishes the following dimensions of public and municipal agricultural land plots that can be allotted to peasant farms for family farming: (a) maximum agricultural land area 100, 0 ha; and (b) minimum agricultural land area – 1, 0 ha.
This Regional Law establishes the price (15 percent of cadastre value) for purchase of land plots within urban areas destined for agricultural production, without edifices or constructions thereupon, allotted to agricultural organizations or peasant farms on condition of permanent (open-ended) tenancy or life-long hereditary possession.

C’est dans le cadre de faire face aux dommages que le secteur agricole a subi suite au seisme du 12 janvier 2010 qui a frappé le pays, que le Haiti a lancé le Programme Triennal de Relance Agricole qui couvre la période 2013-2016. Article 8 (5) shall be amended to add the following wording: “The right to once-only allotment free of charge in ownership of land plots for gardening, horticulture or peri-urban agriculture shall be granted to citizens having already in actual use the aforesaid plots of land. The aforesaid plots of land pertain to low-yielding and disturbed land”.

The purpose of the present Act is to afford protection to farmers against loss of their farm land. For the purpose of the present Act “farming” includes livestock production, poultry breeding, dairying, tillage of the soil, bee-keeping, fur farming or any other activity undertaken to produce primary agricultural produce and animals. Section 5 establishes that the Farm Land Security Board and the Saskatchewan Farm Ownership Board are continued as The Farm Land Security Board consisting of those persons appointed as members by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
