This Act amends the Sugar Industry Efficiency Act 2001 in various sections relating to, among other things: definitions, conversion of land in case of sale of land to the Government, ensuring the quality of sugar products produced under this Act (and quality control including HACCP), other matters regrading conversion of agricultural land in land used for other purposes.

These Regulations, made by the Minister of State under sections 143, 144 and 230 of the Environmental Management Act, concern soil pollution and soil quality standards and provide with respect to a soil protection permit and compliance system. They also concern measures of enforcement.

This Ordinance makes provision with respect to sale, lease or otherwise disposal of lands which belong to the Crown. Subject to the provisions of this Ordinance, the Governor on behalf of the Crown may make grants of Crown lands in such manner and subject to such conditions as may be required and as he or she may deem proper. Every grant shall be executed by the Minister or a public officer authorized by him in that he be expressed to be made in conformity with the provisions of this Ordinance.

This Act amends the Sugar Industry Efficiency Act 2001 and various other laws relating to land, fisheries and agriculture. The amendments concern economic and financial matters. The Fisheries and Marine Resources Act is amended by repealing section 8A and replacing it by a section concerning fish farming zones and fish farming industry. The Environment Protection Act is amended by inserting a new section on EIA licence under LPES (“Land Productivity Enhancement Scheme”).

Le présent arrêté du Gouvernement wallon met en exécution le décret du 20 octobre 2016 limitant les fermages. Notamment, l’arrêté du Gouvernement wallon définit les régions agricoles présentes sur le territoire de la Région wallonne. L’article 1er établit qu’en application de l'article 2, § 1er, alinéa 2, du décret susvisé, les régions agricoles sont les régions aux caractéristiques naturelles et au potentiel agro-économique spécifique définies par l'arrêté royal du 24 février 1951 fixant la délimitation des régions agricoles du Royaume.
