Protected Places (No. 6) Order 2006.

This Order relates to the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act (Chapter 256). Paragraph 2 describes the premises declared to be protected places for the purposes of the Act. No person shall be in those premises unless in possession of a permit or having received special permission from an authorized officer. Paragraph 2 also includes a Schedule listing protected places and their location.

Le présent décret a pour but de conserver intacts les marais et sites marécageux d'une beauté particulière et d'importance nationale, ainsi que les zones alluviales d'importance nationale. L’article 4 établit que à l'intérieur des zones alluviales, des hauts-marais, des marais de transition et des bas-marais, il est interdit de construire, d'exploiter de la tourbe et d'effectuer des nouveaux drainages ou des travaux de réfection des drainages existants.

This Act prohibits the occupation of certain lands, and the building of structures on these without obtaining previous permission by the Authorized Officer. The Provincial Government shall declare these lands to be controlled areas for the purposes of this Act. Offences and penalties are provided for in the Act.
