This Act, which is composed of 124 articles, regulates the use of agricultural land, their protection, marketing and leasing, agricultural operations and common pastures. Provisions of this Act apply mutatis mutandis to forests, unless otherwise provided by law. For these provisions agricultural land means land that is suitable for agricultural production, other than building land and water and land for other purposes. The agricultural land includes all land abandoned, not designated as forest under the Forest Act.

This Act, which is composed of 23 articles, lays down provisions concerning establishment, duties, responsibilities, rights and liabilities of the Farmland and Forest Fund of the Republic of Slovenia. The Fund was set up with the purpose of managing and disposing of farmland, farms and forests owned by the Republic of Slovenia. The Fund implements the Slovene farmland policy and with due prudence manages the trading with this land.

This Decision approves the master plan on the socio-economic development of Ben Tre province.The main objectives of the plan include: development of agriculture, forestry and fishery; control of environmental pollution; reasonably exploit natural resources paying special importance to preserving biodiversity in mangrove forests and coastal tidal banks; development of water supply, drainage and irrigation systems; poverty reduction and hunger elimination; and urban planning.

This Order implements regulations related to organic fertilizers for soil of animal contents. Restrictions apply to specific categorization of organic fertilizers and soil improvers produced by certain methods (i.e. milk based products, colostrum and colostrum-based products).

If 2009 was the end of the hinterland and the beginning of a new globalized forest era, 2010 was a year of pushback. Worldwide, the news was full of reports of forest communities and Indigenous Peoples pushing back at land grabs and shaping policy at the national and global levels, and of governments countering and trying to contain community rights. This Order lists material in column 2 of the Schedule to this Order which shall be qualifying material for the purpose of section 42 of the Finance Act 1996. That section provides for a lower rate of landfill tax to be charged where the material disposed of consists entirely of qualifying material. The material listed in column 2 of the Schedule must not be treated as qualifying material unless any condition set out alongside the description of the material in column 3 is met.
