I, Dr. Rupak Kumar, a member expert of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) inclusive policy lab earned a doctoral degree from BITS Pilani, India in 2018 and acquired a visiting fellowship at University of Haifa, Israel under Ministry of Human Resources and development (MHRD), Govt. of India in 2017. I am an independent researcher, currently focused on researching and developing point of detection device for the estimation of procarcionogen cum glazing agent on coated fruits and vegetables. Also, biological remediation methods for organic and inorganic pollutants from complex environmental matrices, mainly polluted water and sediments are also core interest. My research, university teaching duties and professional experience in the academic and industry sector, are related to environmental analytical methods development, pollutant removal and organizational environmental management normalization. My article namely toxic gloss on fresh veggie plate got print media attention and was highly appreciated in national and international platform and quite popular among common audience. I have been associated with various project work at India premier institute like Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IITD), Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, Tata Memorial Center, Mumbai (ACTREC-TMC, Mumbai), National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) under ministry of youth affairs and sports, Govt. of India and BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad (BPHC) at different capacities during my academics.
