This Act makes provision for various matters relating to Agricultural and Pastoral Societies, being incorporated associations of 50 persons or more for the purposes of promotion and enhancement of agricultural activities (objects of a society are outlined in section 10).
The following new sections are inserted in the Land Acquisition Act, 1994: Section 5A concerns a notice to be given by the Commissioner to the Registrar-General regarding land acquired under section 5(3) of the principal Act.
