This Act puts into effect the Convention on the protection of the Alps of 7 November 1991. Moreover, article 3 describes the institutional framework which shall be involved in the effective implementation of the Convention.
This Act makes provision for various matters relating to Agricultural and Pastoral Societies, being incorporated associations of 50 persons or more for the purposes of promotion and enhancement of agricultural activities (objects of a society are outlined in section 10).
