Decree No. 13 of the State Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy and Cartography validating the Regulation on the establishment of administrative and territorial units.

This Decree establishes the modalities of delimitation of administrative and territorial boundaries, including mapping, calculation of the perimeter of boundaries, calculation of area of administrative and territorial units, and legalization of the boundaries. In the process of mapping the following boundaries shall be established: (a) administrative and territorial units (urban and rural areas); and (b) areas with special land tenure (protected areas, national parks, biosphere reserves, territories of cultural heritage).

This Order amends Parts 1 and 21 of Schedule 1 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 in relation to the installation, alteration or replacement of a satellite antenna on a dwellinghouse or within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse. Development is restricted in a “designated area”, i.e. a national scenic area, National Park, conservation area, historic garden or designed landscape.

Amends: Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 (S.I. 223 (S. 17) of 1992). (1992-02-11)

This Act prescribes steps necessary for the protection of any protected area or protected place. No person shall be in the premises of protected areas or places unless in possession of a permit issued by an authorized officer.The Act further provides for defensive measures which involve or may involve danger to the life of any person entering or attempting to enter a protected area or protected place.

This Act makes provision for the adoption of planning instruments in Scotland such as the National Planning Framework, strategic development planning and local development plans. Provisions of this Act also concern, among other things: planning permission in respect of operation of marine fish farm, National Scenic Areas, development in national parks, consultation with the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Tree Preservation Orders and the carrying out of an environmental assessment.

Law on the Preservation of Afghanistan’s Historical and Cultural Artefacts.

This Law provides for the preservation of historical and cultural artefacts in Afghanistan. All movable and immovable historical and cultural artefacts and heritage items are the property of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.The Law provides for the establishment of an Archaeology Committee to evaluate and perform research on historical and cultural artefacts.

Resolution No. 16/M.W of 2007 laying down foundations for governing and regulating the establishment or the development and rehabilitation of urban communities.

The aim of this Resolution is to lay down bases and foudations in order to regulate and arrnge the creation, development and rehabilition of urban communities outside the protection areas and administrative boundaries of cities and provinces. It is composed of 17 articles. Article 1 gives terms and definitions. Article 4 decrees that the establishment and creation of urbn communities shall be carried out by a resolution of the Council of Ministers after the ratification of the High Committee.

This Act provides rules relative to the physical development of public and private land in Grenada so as to, among other things: ensure sustainable land use; maintain and improve the quality of the physical environment; provide for the orderly subdivision of land; and protect and conserve the natural and cultural heritage of Grenada.As for the administration of this Act, the Development Control Authority established by the Land Development Control Act, is continued as the Panning and Development Authority.

This Act concerns the administration of an area of Dominica set apart under this Act as a reserve and known as the “Carib Reserve”. The Carib Reserve Council shall be constituted as a body corporate and shall be a local government body with the same powers as a Village Council. The Council may make By-laws for the administration of the area including such matters as drainage and sewerage, pollution control, the keeping of animals and the sale of food. The Authority may also establish public pounds and allot land for purposes of agricultural development.

The Act provides for the vesting of the foreshore and the floor of the sea in the State and regulates the use and control of those areas and related matters. The “floor of the sea” means the soil and subsoil of the sea off the coast of Dominica between the low-water mark and so far out to sea as is deemed by law to be within the territorial sea. Use of the foreshore and the floor of the sea requires a licence. Exempted from such obligation are agriculture, rights of fishermen in or over any beach or adjoining land before the Act came into operation and other rights specified in section 10.
