The Food and Nutrition Security Policy and Action Plan constitute a national cross-sectoral strategic document of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Its main objective is to ensure long-term food and nutrition security and the enjoyment by all in the Caribbean Community Member States of the “right to food”.The document provides for elimination of hunger, food security and malnutrition. To this end, it sets out measures concerning implementation of a Zero Hunger Initiative which will reduce the level of hunger and undernourishment in St.

These Regulations consolidate with amendments the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2011 and subsequent amending instruments and implement amendments to Directive 2011/92/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment (“the Directive”) which were made by Directive 2014/52/EU.

These By-laws, approved by the Minister in terms of section 90 of the Rural District Councils Act, shall apply to communal and resettlement land within the Makonde Rural District Council. They allow the Makonde Rural District Council to prepare a plan for- (a) all communal or resettlement land within the Council area; or (b) any ward or combination of wards in communal and resettlement land within the Council area; or (c) any part of award or wards in communal and resettlement land within the Council area. The By-laws set out the procedure for preparation and adoption of the Plan.

This Law is enacted with a view to protecting, developing and making rational use of grasslands, improving the ecological environment, maintaining the diversity of living things, modernizing animal husbandry and promoting the sustainable development of the economy and society.The grasslands are owned by the State, with the exception of the grasslands owned by collectives as provided for by law. These guidelines contain principles of and rules for the management and conservation of river banks and lake shores in Uganda They define functions and duties of Environment Officers and Local Councils and the duties of landowners notably in respect of: (a) soil engineering; (b) agroforestry; (c) mulching; (d) bunding; (e) grassing; (f) control of livestock grazing; and (g) terracing. Specified activities with respect to river banks and lake shores are controlled. Government or a local government shall not lease out or otherwise alienate any river bank and lake shores.
