Network for Environment and Economic Development

NEED

Network for Environment and Economic Development (NEED) educates, trains and empowers the next generation of Burmese civil society leaders in sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation and community-based economic development in order to protect the livelihood, interests, and human rights of all Burmese people. NEED-Burma provides an experiential and multi-ethnic learning environment for motivated Burmese youth to learn alternative and traditional agriculture techniques.

ENDA Pronat

ENDA PRONAT est née au début des années 80 suite à une étude réalisée par Paul Germain et Abou Thiam  sur « Les pesticides : une menace pour le Sénégal ». Son intervention a commencé par des activités de sensibilisation auprès des chercheurs et des utilisateurs. Ensuite l’action de PRONAT s’est poursuivie par la recherche et la formation des productrices et des producteurs sur l’utilisation d’alternatives aux pesticides chimiques. L’année 1996 consacre l’avènement d’une nouvelle vision mettant la recherche développement au centre des préoccupations de ENDA PRONAT.

Le Comité National du Code Rural (CNCR) est chargé de l’élaboration, de la vulgarisation et du suivi de l’application des principes d’orientation du Code Rural.

The Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) works to strengthen institutional capacities toward inclusive and sustainable agricultural and rural development (ISARD) in Southeast Asia through graduate education, research and development, and knowledge management.

 

SEARCA is a non-profit organization established by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) in 1966.

CNVP

CNVP (Connecting Natural Values and People) is a Dutch based organization operating in the Balkans. Being part of the forestry team within SNV http://www.snv.org a group of committed forestry engineers decided to establish CNVP in July, 2012. From its origins up to today this small team of enthusiastics has grown to 25 people from diversified backgrounds. Currently CNVP is implementing projects in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The Foundation for Community Initiatives (FCI) was founded in 2004 as a community based organization in Grand Bassa County, Liberia, by a group of trained development workers and human rights activists trained by Development Education Network – Liberia (DEN-L). The Development Education Network-Liberia (DEN-L) runs the “Development Education Leadership Teams in Actions” (DELTA) Training, which provides leadership, development and advocacy training for NGOs in Liberia.

GLL

By the decision of the authorities of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Geodesy at the University of Agriculture in Krakow of 17 October 2012 a scientific quarterly magazine named Geomatics, Landmanagement and Landscape (GLL) was created.

The purpose of the quarterly magazine are presentations, discussions and exchange of scientific thoughts in the field of broadly understood planning, shaping and protection of the environment and landscapes; modern geoinformatic techniques, surveying, rural areas development and property management.
