This Law, consisting of seven Titles divided into 84 articles, establishes the general basis for policies on public soils, land use and urbanism. This Law does not apply to planning and management of the national maritime areas, without prejudice to the coherence, coordination and harmonization of soil policy and land use planning with policy on planning and management of the national maritime space.

La presente Directriz sobre los requisitos para la revisión de planes costeros y urbanos que deben cumplir los documentos del diagnóstico, pronóstico y propuestas de plan regulador.

This Law shall be applicable to immovable property, including land plots and objects located thereupon. It establishes that mortgage shall originate either in accordance with a contract or by court decision. In case of transfer in mortgage of a plot of land with constructions located thereupon the aforesaid plot of land shall be transferred in mortgage together with the aforesaid constructions. Prohibition and restrictions related to expropriation and alienation of land plots established by Land Code shall be applicable also to mortgage.

Article 14 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Objects of cultural heritage registered in the State register of the objects of cultural heritage that are not subject to privatization shall not be objects of mortgage”.

La presente Ley tiene por objeto la regulación de la ordenación del territorio valenciano, de la actividad urbanística y de la utilización del suelo para su aprovechamiento racional de acuerdo con su función social, así como la evaluación ambiental y territorial estratégica de planes y programas.

This Act is composed of 20 chapters and it is divided into 148 articles.

Article 349 of the Penal Code addresses the illegal acquisition of property and use rights of agricultural and silvicultural land. Persons eluding legal restrictions or prohibitions may be punished with one to five years of imprisonment.

The scope of application of this Decree includes the granting of state subsidy for nature conservation purposes and the compensation for the restriction or prohibition of farming and in case the production structure must be significantly changed.

This Regulation sets out the rules and procedures of the management and administration of natural protected areas and natural heritage sites falling under the authority of the state. The Regulation also covers rules and procedures of appropriation of such areas as well as managing the rules of selling, exchange and renting.

This Decree establishes that restrictions of economic activities in protected areas are envisaged in legislation on protected areas.

These Regulations aim to strengthen land management, protect land resources, utilize lands rationally, protect cultivated lands, improve ecological environment, and promote the sustainable development of social economy.
