Un espacio de formacion para jovenes de comunidades en enfoque de Comunicacion Participativa a través del uso del Video Comunitario

MISIÓN

FLACSO-Guatemala inicia actividades en 1987, en coincidencia con el ambiente propicio que ofrecía la transición a la democracia. Fue reconocida por el Estado de Guatemala por medio del Decreto Legislativo 96-87.

Principió como Proyecto para convertirse en Programa en agosto de 1989 (CS XIII/08, México D.F., 8/28/1989), y luego en Sede Académica en 1998 (Resolución AGO XII/05, México D.F., el 15 de mayo de 1998), al ratificar la Presidencia de la República el acuerdo inicial firmado en 1987.

La Fundación Latinoamericana de Innovación Social, es una instancia de reflexión, estudio y  gestión comunitaria, que trabaja en un ambiente colaborativo, apoyados en el conocimiento y la experiencia, para avanzar hacia una sociedad en que primen la equidad, la inclusión, el fortalecimiento de la democracia y la participación ciudadana. Promovemos una sociedad solidaria en que exista trabajo decente, educación de calidad, acceso a la salud  y vivienda digna.

La Fundación Nacional para el Desarrollo (FUNDE) es una institución de investigación, formulación de políticas socioeconómicas, cabildeo y promoción del desarrollo, teniendo como principal destinatario los sectores más desfavorecidos de la población.

Después de varios años de trabajo en el cumplimiento de tales propósitos, la FUNDE ha colocado los cimientos de una institución sólida, dispone de una marcada presencia e influencia nacional en tanto es considerada como uno de los principales referentes del debate nacional en torno a las problemáticas del desarrollo, así como ha ganado

The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is an international scientific institute that conducts research into the critical issues of global environmental, economic, technological, and social change that we face in the twenty-first century. 

Our findings provide valuable options to policymakers to shape the future of our changing world. IIASA is independent and funded by prestigious research funding agencies in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

The Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) conducts research on the conditions for peaceful relations between states, groups and people.

Researchers at PRIO seek to understand the processes that bring societies together or split them apart. We explore how conflicts erupt and how they can be resolved; we investigate how different kinds of violence affect people; and we examine how societies tackle crises – and the threat of crisis. We document general trends, seek to understand processes, and inform concrete responses.

African Journals OnLine (AJOL) is the world's largest and pre-eminent collection of peer-reviewed, African-published scholarly journals. 

Historically, scholarly information has flowed from North to South and from West to East. It has also been difficult for African researchers to access the work of other African academics. In partnership with hundreds of journals from all over the continent, AJOL works to change this, so that African-origin research output is available to Africans and to the rest of the world.
